Every now and then, I come across a creative prompt that feels like it was made just for me — and Bee Happy’s Weeklies Week 22 did exactly that.
The question was simple: “What’s your reason for creating?”

Click here to watch the process video for this project. It’s one of those “go with the flow” pieces that came together naturally — no overthinking, just creating. Honestly, it’s another reminder that I do my best work when I let instinct lead the way |
And I love that Bee Happy always ends the month with these kinds of prompts — the ones that go deeper than just making a cute project. These are the moments where we get to pause, reflect, and share our stories.
For me, creating (paper crafting) started as something I picked up in 2020 — in the middle of all the chaos and uncertainty. I just needed a way to stay busy, to feel grounded, to hold onto something good when the world felt uncertain.
What I didn’t expect was how deeply it would become a part of my life.
Crafting became more than paper and glue. It became a way to slow down, a space where I could just be. A way to express myself — in color, in texture, in tiny details that speak volumes even when I can’t find the right words.
Now, it’s my sanctuary. My joy.
Whether I’m making something for myself or creating a little handmade piece to share with someone else, it always brings me a sense of calm and connection. And honestly? It just makes me happy — and I love that happiness has a way of spreading when it’s made with heart.
So thank you, Bee Happy Crafts, for the thoughtful prompt — and for reminding us that behind every project is a person, a story, and a reason worth sharing.
If you’re a crafter too, I’d love to hear your why. 💛
