Hi everyone!
Today’s Digi Choosday DT prompt is Easel Card with a Seaside theme, and I had so much fun creating and learning double easel project! For my card, I used the adorable Polkadoodles Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Design Sheet together with the Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Papers. I am not really a fan of the beach but I like how vibrant and texture-ful this collection is!
The patterned papers already have that gorgeous mixed media look - full of vibrant color, texture, and depth - without the mess and needed clean up after a mixed media session. So if you love the mixed media vibe but don’t want the cleanup (same here sometimes), this collection is definitely for you. But don't get me wrong - I love mixed media. It's therapeutic for me especially once I get into the groove. But sometimes, clean up is blah.
For this project, I created a double easel card. It may look a bit complicated at first glance, but I promise, it’s actually super easy to make! I’ve noticed I’ve been saying that a lot in my recent projects, but it’s true. I love creating something that looks extra special and detailed, yet is totally doable and beginner-friendly.

2. Take the 5.5 x 2 1/8 piece and score at 1 3/8 and 2 3/4. Fold the same way - this becomes your mini card base.
3. Layer white cardstock (4.25 x 5.5), solid cardstock, and patterned paper - this will be your card front.
4. Repeat layering for the mini card using:
- White base (2 1/8 x 2 3/4)

- White top layer (1 7/8 x 2 3/8) - Add your “Hi!” sentiment here.
Decorating:
2. Add a small digi inside the mini card base using foam tape.
