Weekly Happy Planner Layout | Scrapbook Travel Titles | Travel Prep Edition

Cramming both a blog post and this week’s planner layout because… well… I didn’t have one last week.

Plus, I wanted a proper to-do list for today and tomorrow before we fly to Seattle!

Yes — the Alaskan Cruise is happening very, very, very soon, and I am beyond excited! Since we arrived last August 9, it’s been a blur of laundry, ironing, and… making scrapbook titles. Oh, and catching up with snuggles and nap disturbances with my cat, Lucky who has been very clingy since we arrived!

Scrapbook Titles - This has become my new travel tradition, inspired by Melanie of @melanie.espe.lim and Michi of @mitchcraftaholic. My first creations were for Abu Dhabi and Malaysia — I had to design them myself because Cricut Design Space didn’t have any. The best part? After our trip, I saw that someone had already recreated my Malaysia design! That gave me the push to make even more titles… so now I have one for each place we’re visiting in Alaska. Because suddenly, just the “Alaska” title I initially made didn’t feel like enough. and because, I was inspired to make the titles that Design Space didn't have!

New designs:

If you want to read about our Abu Dhabi trip, click here. Malaysia is still to follow! hehe.

This Week’s Layout

For this week, I went with a travel theme using The Happy Planner’s Getaway Vibes and Bright Travels sticker books. I added box stickers for each day before our flight so I can jot down important reminders — I’m definitely a “write a list” kind of planner girl.

My sticker sentiments this week include:

  • “Life is a journey, not a destination” (pretty sure we had a similar quote for our travel themed wedding — sorry hubby, my memory’s fuzzy)

  • “Take me away”

  • “Live every day like vacay”

  • “Born to wander”

  • “Travel the world”

  • “Adventure ahead”

Travel Journaling Plans

Traveler's Notebook and pens are birthday gifts from Chummy. Will bring adhesive so I can stick tickets and other memorabilia I get during our trip!

I have a new Traveler’s Notebook from my cousin Chummy, and it’s coming along with my photo printer. During our Malaysia trip, I brought the latest mini album I made for Kelly Bangs and we filled it daily with Instax prints from my sister’s camera. It was so fun! I might get one of my own, but I’m only 50% convinced because of the bulk.

Funny side story — someone accidentally spilled Coke (wala pang umaamin pero may nag "spill" na on who - Ollie and Mica both pointing at each other) on the Malaysia album, so I brought it home for repairs. Haven’t fixed it yet, but that’s on my September list. Here's a little flip through with the Coke splatter effect:

If you want to recreate my scrapbook titles, my Design Space account is here. Some titles are designed by others, but most are my own.

Follow me on my socials for more projects — I might even start sharing our travel stories on my crafting IG too!

This is it for now! Have a great week ahead, everyone!

💗 Ana

  1. Another beautiful creation!
I like the saying “Life is a journey, not a destination”
So, it’s okay to use it over and over again.
I am bewildered on your multi-tasking ability; crafting, blogging, house chores and bonding with Lucky; I cant even keep up with my laundry! You have a “superstar” brother who changes outfit from time to time. 5-8 pieces of clothing in a day.
Your (travel designs ) are also good you may transform it into ref magnets.
It’s heartbreaking to see Lucky lying in your luggage. It’s as if he doesn’t want you to put your things in it.
You are so lucky to have Lucky who loves you and your hubby so much.
I’m so excited too about your Alaska trip.
Here’s a trivia about Alaska so you may have something to read on you 7-hr flight.
    * Alaska was purchased from the Russian Empire by the US for the sum of $7.2 million in 1867.
    * The purchase labeled as “Seward’s Folly” or Seward’s Icebox because they thought US had acquired useless land.
William H Seward Secretary of State during that time negotiated with the sale.
    * State Flower of Alaska- Forget Me Not
    * Year Alaska became a State- 1959
    * Largest City in Alaska- Anchorage
*State Motto of Alaska- North To The Future
    *State Gem of Alaska- Jade
*State Sport of Alaska- Dog Mushing
    *Longest River in Alaska-Yukon River
    *Capital City- Juneau
    * Alaska City known as “The Salmon Capital of the World”- Ketchikan
*Estimate Number of Glaciers in Alaska- 100,00

Mini Album with Tags | Polkadoodles Project

I had so fun creating this sweet little  Mini Album with Tags  using Polkadoodles printable goodies - it was fun and relaxing. This project is simple and it’s super versatile too. I designed the base cut file myself using  Cricut Design Space , and if you’re using DS, you can grab the file right here . It’s a great starting point if you’re looking for a quick and easy project with lots of room for personalization. For the papers, I used the  Happy Cactus Succulent Printable Papers  from Polkadoodles. The cheerful colors (my fave colors too!) and patterns are perfect for a spring or summer vibe. I paired them with solid cardstock for structure, using it for both the base and the tags tucked inside. The sentiment on the bellyband— “Hi, You” —comes from the  Honeypie Greetings Sentiment  pack. It’s such a simple but sweet message that works for just about any occasion. To finish it off, I tied a cute  polkadot ribbon on the tags  for a little e...

Polkadoodles Project - Kicking Off Christmas with a Clear Front Easel Card

First Christmas card of the year — check! I’m officially diving into festive crafting, and what better way to start than with a sparkly, interactive  easel clear front card ? I love how this one turned out. For this project, I combined die cutting, digital stamps, and a bit of dimension to create a unique card that’s both sturdy and see-through (yes, acetate powers!). Here’s how I made it and everything I used: Supplies Used: Plain cardstock (blue) Acetate sheet Glitter cardstock Lawn Fawn  – Snow Flurries Backdrop dies Sizzix Big Shot Ohuhu Markers Foam tape Bearly Art Precision Glue Cricut Maker Polkadoodles Digi Stamp  – Winnie White Christmas Polkadoodles Sentiment  – Seasons Greetings Paper trimmer 🛠️ How I Made It: Cut the acetate  to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Die cut your glitter cardstock  using any border die you like. I used Lawn Fawn’s  Snow Flurries Backdrop  for a pretty, intricate and sparkly touch. Cut plain cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11 inc...

Digi Choosday Project | Gratitude Journaling Folio with Polkadoodles Autumn Fall Fox

Digi Choosday Project | Gratitude Journaling Folio with Polkadoodles Autumn Fall Fox   This week’s Digi Choosday prompt is  Halloween / Autumn , and while I initially planned on making just one Halloween project, I couldn’t help but want to do an Autumn-inspired one too. So… here’s my second project: a  Gratitude Journaling Folio  featuring the adorable  Autumn Fall Foxes  from Polkadoodles!  This folio is actually a  one-page wonder  design, but I saw the perfect patterned papers in the  Boo Halloween Paper Digital Bundle  and  Enfys Jetsetting Digital Stamp Bundle —so I ended up layering extra panels inside. If you’re recreating this, feel free to stick with a single 12x12 patterned paper, or go wild like I did!  The  cover  is a mixed media combo of a paper doily, trims, flowers, one of the Autumn Fox digi stamps, and the word  “Grateful.”  Inside, I added more sweet words like  “Thankful” ...
