It’s November!!! This week's Happy Planner Layout

This week’s Happy Planner layout is flowery — because, well, people in Manila are currently bringing flowers to the cemetery for All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day. Haha! Joke lang. What actually happened was: what I  wanted  for this layout didn’t quite work out, so I ended up adding flowers and leaves instead. Hence, that curved floral thingy smacked right in the middle of the spread. Such an  ugh  layout, but oh wells. I used the  Happy Memory Keeping Floral Memories  and  The Encourager  sticker books for this week’s spread. Sentiment for the week:   Girl, you are super amazing. Crafty things I worked on last week  I finally turned my  Bee Happy Weeklies Aall & Create “paper dolls”  into cards ! It was a little #Inktober inspired project I worked on one afternoon just so I could play with my Distress Oxides again. I made a  hybrid scrapbook layout  for  Traci Reed’s Sketchy Sunday  — it’s a layout for my...

Weekly Happy Planner Layout | Live Creatively + Color Me Happy

After two weeks, I think my body might finally be easing back into its regular sleeping pattern. But honestly, it’s been weird - like, fall-asleep-after-dinner-at-6:00pm weird. Then wake up at midnight, struggle to sleep again, and only doze off between 4:00-6:00am. Not exactly ideal, especially for my husband who has to be at work by 8:00am. Last night though, I managed a semi-normal 10:00pm to 4:00am stretch - still early, but better! I even tried to read after waking up, but that just made me lose all my sleepiness.

The funny part is, this doesn’t even feel like Seattle jet lag anymore - it’s more like Philippines time. Which made me think of our Malaysia trip (that was just a few days long and a month ago already!). I guess I’m just weird - my jet lag is weird too.

So here I am at 6:30am, blogging about this week’s planner spread.

For this week, I reached for my Happy Planner Live Creatively sticker book, since I’ve been pushing myself to catch up on DT projects and also joined the #Stashtember / #Stamptember daily challenge this month. I wanted my layout to really reflect that creative energy, so I picked stickers like “Think Happy, Plan Happy, Be Happy” and “Have an Attitude of Gratitude.” I also set up a little “brain dump” corner to jot down any project ideas that come to mind.

But of course… I couldn’t stop there. I wanted more color and more stickers, so I pulled out the Color Me Happy sticker book and added a few pops, including a colorful “Good Vibes” sticker that made the whole spread feel extra cheerful.

Now that my post-trip chores are officially wrapped up (and after our mini post-trip getaway to Bahrain - blogged about that here!), it feels good to finally be back to “regular programming.” Next up, I get to look forward to our holiday trip back home, and yes… big trips are already being planned for 2026 too!

Outside of planning, I’ve been enjoying some reading time again. I’m on my 4th book this month (11th for the year!) - currently reading Love, Mom by Iliana Xander. No binge-worthy series yet, but I have been following the Senate Hearings on Flood Control every Monday. It’s honestly chaos and comedy all at once—but hopefully it ends with accountability.

And because I can’t resist a seasonal note… the Christmas countdown is at 106 days! I’m torn between decorating on September 15 (my usual 100-days-before tradition) or waiting until after Halloween since I’m joining Sarah's annual Halloween Craft Countdown this year again. But since we’ll be in Manila before Christmas, I kind of want to enjoy having the house decorated earlier. Let’s see - maybe next week’s planner blog will already have photos of my Christmas decorated living room.

That’s it for this week’s spread!

Colorful stickers, good vibes, and a brain dump ready for all the creative ideas coming my way.

Until the next layout… may your week be happy, colorful, and full of stickers!

  1. Your frequent overseas travel greatly affected your circadian rhythm.
Circadian rhythm is your body's 24-hr clock that regulates physical, mental and behavioral changes most notably your sleep-wake cycle.
Six locations within 2 months this sounds like literally a circa meaning around. Around the world in 30 days and Jules Verne had it for 80.

Imagine these changes, your body surely has gone haywire!

Time difference between SAR and Abudhabi is 1 hour,
SAR and Malaysia is 5 hrs, SAR and Seattle is 10 hrs.
SAR and Alaska is 11 hrs.

Don't worry give it a few days or a couple of weeks for your body clock to be back to normal.
No time is wasted time with you anyway. Even if you are up during the wee hours, you have lots of things to do like this beautifully crafted colorful planner, reading books, watching Netflix and the QuadComm or giving Lucky the attention.
Just rest and relax because before you know it you will be traveling again 😆 Hahahaha

Mini Album with Tags | Polkadoodles Project

I had so fun creating this sweet little  Mini Album with Tags  using Polkadoodles printable goodies - it was fun and relaxing. This project is simple and it’s super versatile too. I designed the base cut file myself using  Cricut Design Space , and if you’re using DS, you can grab the file right here . It’s a great starting point if you’re looking for a quick and easy project with lots of room for personalization. For the papers, I used the  Happy Cactus Succulent Printable Papers  from Polkadoodles. The cheerful colors (my fave colors too!) and patterns are perfect for a spring or summer vibe. I paired them with solid cardstock for structure, using it for both the base and the tags tucked inside. The sentiment on the bellyband— “Hi, You” —comes from the  Honeypie Greetings Sentiment  pack. It’s such a simple but sweet message that works for just about any occasion. To finish it off, I tied a cute  polkadot ribbon on the tags  for a little e...

Polkadoodles Project - Kicking Off Christmas with a Clear Front Easel Card

First Christmas card of the year — check! I’m officially diving into festive crafting, and what better way to start than with a sparkly, interactive  easel clear front card ? I love how this one turned out. For this project, I combined die cutting, digital stamps, and a bit of dimension to create a unique card that’s both sturdy and see-through (yes, acetate powers!). Here’s how I made it and everything I used: Supplies Used: Plain cardstock (blue) Acetate sheet Glitter cardstock Lawn Fawn  – Snow Flurries Backdrop dies Sizzix Big Shot Ohuhu Markers Foam tape Bearly Art Precision Glue Cricut Maker Polkadoodles Digi Stamp  – Winnie White Christmas Polkadoodles Sentiment  – Seasons Greetings Paper trimmer 🛠️ How I Made It: Cut the acetate  to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Die cut your glitter cardstock  using any border die you like. I used Lawn Fawn’s  Snow Flurries Backdrop  for a pretty, intricate and sparkly touch. Cut plain cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11 inc...

Digi Choosday Project | Gratitude Journaling Folio with Polkadoodles Autumn Fall Fox

Digi Choosday Project | Gratitude Journaling Folio with Polkadoodles Autumn Fall Fox   This week’s Digi Choosday prompt is  Halloween / Autumn , and while I initially planned on making just one Halloween project, I couldn’t help but want to do an Autumn-inspired one too. So… here’s my second project: a  Gratitude Journaling Folio  featuring the adorable  Autumn Fall Foxes  from Polkadoodles!  This folio is actually a  one-page wonder  design, but I saw the perfect patterned papers in the  Boo Halloween Paper Digital Bundle  and  Enfys Jetsetting Digital Stamp Bundle —so I ended up layering extra panels inside. If you’re recreating this, feel free to stick with a single 12x12 patterned paper, or go wild like I did!  The  cover  is a mixed media combo of a paper doily, trims, flowers, one of the Autumn Fox digi stamps, and the word  “Grateful.”  Inside, I added more sweet words like  “Thankful” ...
