This week’s Digi Choosday DT prompt is Easter and to use an image featuring a sheep or spring animal, so of course I had to create something extra sweet using the adorable Honeypie Spring Lambs.
I made another mini album (because I simply can’t stop), this time shaped like a cozy little house! Each page is lined with beautiful patterned papers from the Winnie Sunshine Delights Paper Pack, which adds the perfect bright and cheerful spring vibe.
Just like my previous minis, this one is available for you to recreate in Cricut Design Space. I’m sharing the exact template I used! If you’re a Cricut user, you can access the DS template here.
Not a Cricut user? No worries at all! You can easily create your own version by downloading a simple house template online or drawing one yourself and using it as a cutting guide.
Materials Used
Ring binder
Pattern Paper – Winnie Sunshine Delights Paper Pack
Digi Stamp – Honeypie Spring Lambs
Ohuhu Colored Pencils
Bearly Art Precision Glue
Cricut Maker
How I Made It
If you’re using a Cricut Maker, open the Design Space file I provided.
Cut the large house bases using white cardstock.
Cut as many as you need for your pages.
Resize if needed. I sized mine so I could cut 2 houses from one A4 sheet to maximize the page.
Cut the smaller house layers using patterned paper.
I used the Winnie Sunshine Delights Paper Pack for a bright spring look.
Don’t forget the reversed pieces for the backs of the pages!
Adhere the patterned paper houses to the front and back of the white cardstock bases.
Cut the embellishment pieces.
White elements from white cardstock
Colored elements from scrap patterned paper
Assemble and adhere all embellishments.
Color your digi stamp.
I used Ohuhu Colored Pencils for soft spring tones.
Adhere the colored Honeypie Spring Lambs to the front cover.
Punch a hole on each page, bind everything with a ring binder then finish with enamel dots for that extra pop of cuteness!
This little house mini album is perfect for Easter memories, spring photos, or even as a sweet handmade gift. I just love how cheerful and cute it turned out!
