This week’s Digi Choosday Design Team theme is all about graduation, and as usual, I couldn’t resist using not just one, but two adorable digi stamps! They were just too cute to choose between, so of course they both made it onto cards.
It also turned into the perfect excuse to finally pull out a rays stencil set that has been quietly sitting in my stash for years. You know those supplies you love but somehow never reach for? Yes… those. Turns out, they were exactly what these graduation cards needed!
And tbh, if you’re like me with a growing collection of “I’ll use this someday” goodies, our weekly Digi Choosday challenges are such a fun (and slightly guilt-free) way to give them the spotlight they deserve. Consider it a little nudge to shop your stash and fall in love with your supplies all over again.

Instructions
1. Prepare your card base by trimming white cardstock to 8.5 x 5.5 inches and scoring at 4.25 inches on the long side.
2. Trim another piece of white cardstock to 4 x 5.25 inches for your card panel.
3. Take Stencil #1, align it to the center of your panel, and blend Distress Oxide ink:
- Girl card: Scattered Straw
- Boy card: Carved Pumpkin
4. Align Stencil #2 in the middle and blend again:
- Girl card: Carved Pumpkin
- Boy card: Squeezed Lemonade
5. Place Stencil #3 and apply Versamark Watermark Ink over the rays.
6. Remove the stencil and sprinkle Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder over the panel.
7. Using tweezers, tap off the excess powder and return it to the container.
8. Heat set the embossing powder using your heat gun until all the rays are beautifully embossed.
9. Color your digi stamps using alcohol markers and adhere them to the center of the rays using foam tape.
10. Attach the finished panel to your card base with foam tape for added dimension.
These cards came together with such happy, celebratory vibes - perfect for marking such a big milestone! I love how the embossed rays add that extra shine and energy, almost like a spotlight moment for the graduates .
If you’ve got supplies waiting for their turn, this is your sign to pull them out and play. You might just rediscover a new favorite combo!
