It’s November!!! This week's Happy Planner Layout

This week’s Happy Planner layout is flowery — because, well, people in Manila are currently bringing flowers to the cemetery for All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day. Haha! Joke lang. What actually happened was: what I  wanted  for this layout didn’t quite work out, so I ended up adding flowers and leaves instead. Hence, that curved floral thingy smacked right in the middle of the spread. Such an  ugh  layout, but oh wells. I used the  Happy Memory Keeping Floral Memories  and  The Encourager  sticker books for this week’s spread. Sentiment for the week:   Girl, you are super amazing. Crafty things I worked on last week  I finally turned my  Bee Happy Weeklies Aall & Create “paper dolls”  into cards ! It was a little #Inktober inspired project I worked on one afternoon just so I could play with my Distress Oxides again. I made a  hybrid scrapbook layout  for  Traci Reed’s Sketchy Sunday  — it’s a layout for my...

Digi Choosday Project | Personalized Notelet Set with Polkadoodles Fairy Winnie Daisy

This week’s Digi Choosday challenge is all about making a set of notelets to gift or sell—with a coordinating box or wallet to package them in. I loved the prompt so much that I made something just for me! I’ll be keeping this notelet set in my craft room, ready to use for swaps I’m sending to the Philippines.

I usually go for black and white digi stamps that I can color myself, but since I’ll be recreating this design multiple times, I chose the pre-colored Message Letter Fairy Winnie Daisy from Polkadoodles—perfect for both time-saving and consistent results.

Let’s be real, most of us crafters are always making things for others but rarely take time to craft something personal. This challenge was a great reminder to make something useful for myself too—and I love how it turned out!

Materials Used:

  • White and colored cardstock

  • Polkadoodles Rebel Pretty Printable Paper

  • Pre-colored Digi Stamp: Message Letter Fairy Winnie Daisy

  • Bearly Art Glue

  • Cutterpillar Pro Paper Trimmer & Crease Score Board

  • Gauze

  • Flower embellishment

  • Surebonder Glue Gun

  • Round scallop die

  • Hallmark blank cards & envelopes

  • We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board

How I Made It:

I used Cricut Design Space to design and cut the notelets, but if you don’t have a cutting machine, a photo editing site like Canva plus a good paper trimmer will work just fine!

Step-by-step Instructions:

  1. Open Cricut Design Space and create a new project.

  2. Add a rectangle shape and size it to 5 x 3.75 inches. Unlock the ratio so it doesn’t stay square.

  3. Upload your chosen pattern paper to DS.

  4. On the Upload screen, go straight through without removing the background. Choose Flat Graphic when prompted.

  5. Resize the pattern paper slightly smaller proportionally, not by typing measurements. On the right side of DS, on the layer column, drag the layer of the rectangle above the pattern paper. Then drag the rectangle shape to the pattern paper. Now, it will be above the pattern paper.

  6. Select both the rectangle and the pattern paper and click slice. This will slice the rectangle out of the pattern paper to get your notelet base. Delete the black rectangle and the excess of the pattern paper.

  7. Use the Offset tool to create a smaller inset border within the pattern. Change the inset shape to white.

  8. Upload your digi stamp (follow steps 3–7 again).

  9. Resize and position the stamp where you like.

  10. Add your name using the Text tool and your preferred font. Change color and size, and set it to Print Then Cut.

  11. Duplicate the design based on how many you want to make, then hit Make!

I printed mine on 100lb white cardstock for good quality and durability. To make the notelet sturdier, I layered it onto a 5.25 x 4 inch piece of colored cardstock and adhered it to a Hallmark blank card. (I have a box of blank cards and matching envelopes!)

I maximized the paper by adding more digi stamps that I can use for future projects

Envelope Box & Packaging:

For the packaging, I made a box-style envelope using the We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board and 100lb cardstock printed with Polkadoodles Rebel Pretty designs (back to back!).

Then I wrapped a belly band around it and decorated with:

  • A scalloped circle die cut

  • Gauze for texture

  • My Fairy Winnie Daisy digi stamp

  • Floral embellishments—all glued down with hot glue for a sturdy hold.

This was such a fun and practical project, and I can’t wait to make more of these notelets!

Mini Album with Tags | Polkadoodles Project

I had so fun creating this sweet little  Mini Album with Tags  using Polkadoodles printable goodies - it was fun and relaxing. This project is simple and it’s super versatile too. I designed the base cut file myself using  Cricut Design Space , and if you’re using DS, you can grab the file right here . It’s a great starting point if you’re looking for a quick and easy project with lots of room for personalization. For the papers, I used the  Happy Cactus Succulent Printable Papers  from Polkadoodles. The cheerful colors (my fave colors too!) and patterns are perfect for a spring or summer vibe. I paired them with solid cardstock for structure, using it for both the base and the tags tucked inside. The sentiment on the bellyband— “Hi, You” —comes from the  Honeypie Greetings Sentiment  pack. It’s such a simple but sweet message that works for just about any occasion. To finish it off, I tied a cute  polkadot ribbon on the tags  for a little e...

Polkadoodles Project - Kicking Off Christmas with a Clear Front Easel Card

First Christmas card of the year — check! I’m officially diving into festive crafting, and what better way to start than with a sparkly, interactive  easel clear front card ? I love how this one turned out. For this project, I combined die cutting, digital stamps, and a bit of dimension to create a unique card that’s both sturdy and see-through (yes, acetate powers!). Here’s how I made it and everything I used: Supplies Used: Plain cardstock (blue) Acetate sheet Glitter cardstock Lawn Fawn  – Snow Flurries Backdrop dies Sizzix Big Shot Ohuhu Markers Foam tape Bearly Art Precision Glue Cricut Maker Polkadoodles Digi Stamp  – Winnie White Christmas Polkadoodles Sentiment  – Seasons Greetings Paper trimmer 🛠️ How I Made It: Cut the acetate  to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Die cut your glitter cardstock  using any border die you like. I used Lawn Fawn’s  Snow Flurries Backdrop  for a pretty, intricate and sparkly touch. Cut plain cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11 inc...

Digi Choosday Project | Gratitude Journaling Folio with Polkadoodles Autumn Fall Fox

Digi Choosday Project | Gratitude Journaling Folio with Polkadoodles Autumn Fall Fox   This week’s Digi Choosday prompt is  Halloween / Autumn , and while I initially planned on making just one Halloween project, I couldn’t help but want to do an Autumn-inspired one too. So… here’s my second project: a  Gratitude Journaling Folio  featuring the adorable  Autumn Fall Foxes  from Polkadoodles!  This folio is actually a  one-page wonder  design, but I saw the perfect patterned papers in the  Boo Halloween Paper Digital Bundle  and  Enfys Jetsetting Digital Stamp Bundle —so I ended up layering extra panels inside. If you’re recreating this, feel free to stick with a single 12x12 patterned paper, or go wild like I did!  The  cover  is a mixed media combo of a paper doily, trims, flowers, one of the Autumn Fox digi stamps, and the word  “Grateful.”  Inside, I added more sweet words like  “Thankful” ...
