Easter Egg Mini Album featuring Love Bird Letter Valentine – Wings of Love

Today I’m sharing this sweet and whimsical Easter Egg Mini Album featuring the adorable Love Bird Letter Valentine – Wings of Love digi. I wanted something soft, interactive, and perfect for spring memories, so an egg-shaped mini album felt just right for the season!

I made this entire album using my Cricut Maker, which made cutting multiple egg pages super quick and precise. If you’re a Cricut user, you can use the Design Space template I created for this project. The template includes the large egg base pages and the smaller egg layers for the patterned paper liners.

If you’re not using a Cricut, no worries at all! You can easily draw an egg shape manually or print one to use as a pattern. Simply trace and cut as many pages as you’d like for your mini album.

Materials Used

How I Made It

If you’re using a Cricut, open the Design Space template here. This file includes just the egg bases and smaller egg layers. I made 12 egg pages total, including the front and back covers. You can fit 4 eggs per A4 sheet, so it’s very cardstock-friendly.

1. Cut the Base Pages

Cut the larger egg shapes from white cardstock. These will be your main album pages.

2. Cut the Pattern Paper Layers

Cut the smaller egg shapes from patterned paper. I used papers from the Winnie Celebrations 3 Set for bright, happy spring vibes. You can also cut extra patterned eggs if you’d like to create pocket pages.

3. Assemble the Pages

Adhere the smaller patterned eggs onto the white eggs. I only lined one side of each page with patterned paper, leaving the back blank for journaling and photos.

4. Create the Embellishments

I used sentiments from the Spring into Easter collection and designed tags, banners, and layered shapes in Design Space. I used the Print then Cut feature for clean, professional-looking embellishments.

5. Color the Digi Stamp

The Love Bird Letter Valentine – Wings of Love digi was colored using Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. I kept the tones soft and spring-inspired to match the papers.

6. Decorate the Pages

Once everything was colored and cut, I adhered the embellishments to the inside pages. I layered different shapes and sentiments to add dimension and interest.

7. Bind the Album

Punch two holes along the side of each egg and insert your ring binders. You can add the holes directly in Design Space if you prefer, but I like punching them myself after decorating so I can work around trims and embellishments.

8. Add Finishing Touches

For the cover, I added pompom trim around the edge using a glue gun for extra texture and color. Then I adhered the colored digi to the front page. I also tied ribbons and trims onto the ring binders for that final sweet touch.

This egg-shaped mini album is perfect for Easter memories, spring photos, or even as a seasonal keepsake gift. I love how interactive it feels while still being simple to recreate.

If you’re a Cricut user, grab the template and make your own version. And if you’re not, just trace an egg and start cutting, sometimes the simplest shapes create the cutest albums!
