Cold Nose, Warm Heart – A Cozy Cat Nap Card

There’s something irresistibly sweet about a girl and her cat (especially since I'm one! haha!), and the Honeypie Cat Naps digi stamp from Polkadoodles captures that bond perfectly! I enjoyed coloring this image using my Ohuhu Markers.

Once the image was fully colored, I kept the rest of the card simple to keep the Honeypie and the sweet kitty the main star of the card. I used plain cardstock for the base, layering it with white cardstock stenciled using the Oh My Heart stencil from Simple Stories. The heart pattern was inked with Distress Oxides in Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry to somewhat match the colors of Honeypie's outfit.

To finish it off, I added a perfectly fitting sentiment: “Cold Nose, Warm Heart.” This sticker came from The Happy Planner Pets sticker book—I cut it in half so it would fit the card in two lines.

This card came together with a whole lot of love—and just the right amount of cat cuddles!
