Happy Planning: My Weekly Layouts | Documenting Creativity, One Week at a Time

I’ve decided to start sharing my planner layouts here on the blog! I’m still figuring out whether I’ll write a new post every week or just keep updating this one with my spreads for the month. Either way, I thought it would be fun to document my planning journey and hopefully connect with fellow planner lovers along the way.

I’ve been using The Happy Planner for three years now. Before that, I used to be a loyal Belle de Jour user—a popular local planner brand in Manila. While I loved its inspiring content and empowering themes, I eventually found it a bit too compact for my style. I love decorating my pages, and the smaller format just didn’t give me enough space to play with stickers and washi to my heart’s content.

This year, I’m using the 2025 Radiant Garden Classic Color Block Layout—a 12-month planner that gives me a structured yet flexible space to stay organized and creative. To keep make it extra (secure and stylish), I added a Happy Planner's Snap-In Classic Planner Cover in Gold, which protects the laminated cover.

This year's planner, alongside my mini printers

and fave pens (since they were released!) - PaperMate InkJoy!

One of the main reasons I love The Happy Planner is the creative freedom it offers. I can go minimal one week and go all out with stickers and washi the next. There are no rules—just a space for planning, memory-keeping, and self-expression. Decorating my planner has become a weekly ritual that helps me slow down, reflect, and look forward to the days ahead.

This week’s layout features the beautiful Superbloom sticker album- I put cacti and flowers and leaving space for pen was the only thing than stopped me from adding more. I also left a big space for the weekend because that's where I will put a photo of our 10th year wedding anniversary - yes 10! I framed the layout with gold slim washi tape from Recollections, which added the sparkle the celebration needed.

I usually put photos either printed with my Paperang P3 or my Xiaomi Pocket Photo Printer if some photos were taken during the day.

I can’t wait to share more of my layouts with you! Whether you’re a long-time planner or just curious about getting started, I hope you find a little inspiration here.

This week, I went with something bold and bright using the Happy Planner Neon Lights sticker book. I was craving summer vibes—because honestly, it’s starting to get really, really hot here in Saudi! I wanted something colorful to reflect the season, but summer here isn’t exactly beaches and piña coladas. 😅 Most of my summer-themed stickers are all about pool parties, palm trees, and sunshine fun… which feels slightly ironic when stepping outside feels like walking into an oven, and washing hands is like washing your hands in hot coffee.

Still, the vibrant neons brought the energy I needed for the week. I focused on using neon rainbow colors, hearts (still on 10th wedding anniversary high!), and bright accents to spark some motivation, even if I’m just staying inside with the AC on full blast!

That’s it for now—stay tuned for more weekly updates! Let me know if you’re also a Happy Planner fan, or if you have any favorite summer sticker books to recommend that aren’t all about the beach. 😉
