Weekly Happy Planner Layout | Life is a Party Edition

It’s been two weeks since I last made a planner spread (vacation mode!), but I’m back this week with a fun and sparkly layout using Happy Planner’s Life is a Party sticker book - just in time to celebrate my hubby’s birthday!

While I haven’t done my planner, I have been working on my Traveler’s Journal. Most pages are about 50–80% done but not fully finished yet. Still, I’m excited because this will probably be my first TN that I’ve religiously filled out while on a trip! I’ll definitely share it here soon.

 This Week’s Layout

This spread is full of sparkle with shiny stars and uplifting sentiments like:

  • Life is a party

  • Bring your own sunshine

  • Throw kindness around like confetti

  • Good vibes

…and of course, lots of birthday balloons for my hubby Ton and our sweet Lucky who also celebrates his special day this week! Lucky is even recycling his birthday outfit from last year because August flew by so fast, I wasn’t ready for September! Plus, it's also my Mom's birthday!

The Cake Topper

I’m also sharing the game-themed shaker cake topper I made for Ton’s 38th birthday (IYKYK). September 1 always feels like the start of the Christmas season back home in the Philippines, and it’s only fitting he was born today—because he’s the start of every joyous season for me, and truly the kindest heart I know.

If you want to recreate the topper, you can find it in my Design Space profile. Originally designed as a Death Stranding-inspired topper, but I removed the uploaded images so you can personalize it with your own game-themed embellishments or favorite fandom details.

Christmas Countdown Begins!

If you know me, then you know what September 1 means… it’s the return of my Christmas countdowns in our group chats! Some friends say they’re annoyed, but they’re also the first to notice when I miss a day. So here we are—114 days until Christmas, my favorite holiday (right after birthdays, of course).

What I’m Reading & Watching

  • I got halfway through The Silent Wife by Karin Slaughter during our flight to Seattle. I didn’t read on the way back because I somehow managed to sleep almost the entire trip—thank you to the two empty seats beside me that turned into my makeshift bed!

  • I also just finished the entire Cold Case series. Loved it overall, but I was so disappointed by the abrupt ending. It felt like saying goodbye to friends without any closure. Agggghh!

Life Lately

Still catching up on chores—mostly endless ironing after tackling all our post-trip laundry. But slowly, I’m getting back into the groove of crafting, planning, and sharing more with you here.

Until next week!

Love love,

Ana

Mini Album with Tags | Polkadoodles Project

I had so fun creating this sweet little  Mini Album with Tags  using Polkadoodles printable goodies - it was fun and relaxing. This project is simple and it’s super versatile too. I designed the base cut file myself using  Cricut Design Space , and if you’re using DS, you can grab the file right here . It’s a great starting point if you’re looking for a quick and easy project with lots of room for personalization. For the papers, I used the  Happy Cactus Succulent Printable Papers  from Polkadoodles. The cheerful colors (my fave colors too!) and patterns are perfect for a spring or summer vibe. I paired them with solid cardstock for structure, using it for both the base and the tags tucked inside. The sentiment on the bellyband— “Hi, You” —comes from the  Honeypie Greetings Sentiment  pack. It’s such a simple but sweet message that works for just about any occasion. To finish it off, I tied a cute  polkadot ribbon on the tags  for a little e...

10 Years Married: From 8AM Vows to Riyadh City Lights

I t feels like just yesterday when we said  I do  at 8AM — and I still remember thinking,  Why didn’t we make it 9 instead? Haha. But here we are, a decade into marriage, 14 years together, and living this unexpected chapter of our lives in Saudi Arabia. Watch our SDE here !๐Ÿ’™ Currently, we’re based in  Al Ahsa , one of the oldest provinces in Saudi. For those unfamiliar, think of it as the  probinsya  version of Saudi — calm, rich in heritage, and definitely far from the city buzz. So for our 10th anniversary, we decided to shake (yesss - shake! lol) things up a bit and drive to  Riyadh , the capital. Imagine two  probinsyanas  from some quiet part of the Philippines heading to Manila — that was the vibe. The Road to Riyadh My favorite road sign! haha! We left Al Ahsa around 10AM and arrived in Riyadh a little past 1PM. (Yes, that’s 3+ hours on the road!) With check-in at the  Four Seasons Hotel  only starting at 4PM —  4PM, c...

All the Cricut MEA Prizes I’ve Won (So Far!)

I still remember the first time I joined Cricut MEA’s Ramadan Challenges back in March 2024. I was so excited to take part daily — crafting along with the community for almost 25 days straight — until I was told that Saudi Arabia couldn’t join. ๐Ÿ˜ข Fast forward to December 2024, and everything changed! Cricut MEA officially opened up the challenges to Saudi residents — and I didn’t waste a second. I jumped right into their Christmas Countdown Challenges, and from then on, I’ve joined every single challenge they’ve hosted. December 2024 January 2025 February 2025 March 2025 And now… LOOK AT THIS LOOT! ๐Ÿ˜ Watch my unboxing reel here. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Cricut and Monster Middle East for organizing such fun and inspiring events. My crafty heart is full, and my shelves… well, they might be full too. ๐Ÿ˜… And of course, none of this would be possible without my husband, who has been 100% supportive of all my crafty adventures from day one. ❤️️ Stay tuned — I’ll be sharing more of w...
