This project was originally meant to be a pair of really special Christmas tags… but as soon as I finished them, I realized they’re too cute not to hang on the tree! So now they’re officially Christmas tags and ornaments in one!
For this week’s Digi Choosday challenge, the DT theme is Non-Traditional Christmas Colors and/or Winter + a Sentiment — and since my favorite color is pink, of course I went all in with a pink Christmas!
Materials Used
Polkadoodles Digi Stamps:
Pretty Poinsettia (DLPD9791)
Ohuhu Markers: G41, GY1, GY3, GY172, R23, R25, R26, RV23
Nuvo Crystal Drops: Bubblegum Blush
Distress Oxide Spray: Kitsch Flamingo
Mintay Kreativa Chalk Paint: Rosebud
Mintay Chippies
Aleene’s Glitter Snow
Trims: Various shades of pink
Lace
Roco Adhesive Diamantes
Stencil
Paint Brush
Surebonder Glue Gun
I used a mix of Polkadoodles Bella Bear digis — Bella Bear Delivering Gifts and Bella Bear with Lots of Gifts — along with Pretty Poinsettia. The poinsettias were colored using Ohuhu markers and accented with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Blush for those little berry details.
To create the base, I painted Mintay Chippies with Mintay Kreativa Chalk Paint (Rosebud), stenciled Aleene’s Glitter Snow for texture, and added a light mist of Distress Oxide Spray (Kitsch Flamingo) for that perfect pink glow. A touch of lace, trims, and adhesive diamonds completed the look — and voila! A fancy tag that doubles as a Christmas ornament!
I love how these turned out — soft, sparkly, and sweetly festive. Perfect for gifting or for adding a pink twist to your holiday decor.

You’re absolutely right, sis! These Christmas tags that you made are too cute not to hang on your Christmas tree, and they have a very nice color combination for Christmas. 😍 See you soon sisaaaa!!! 🥰🥰🥰
ReplyDeleteYour gift tags turned out well. It showed Christmas without using the traditional Christmas colors- red and green and instead of Santa delivering gifts you had a bear do his job.
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas themes of goodwill, generosity, and joy still persists.
