Yes, yes, yes - I used the Winter sticker book again! I first used it last September thinking winter was coming… and well, two months later, still no sign of it! Though to be fair, it’s slowly making its way here. Just the other day, Riyadh’s temperature dropped to 11°C! The water from the faucet isn’t warm anymore, and we’ve officially turned on our water heater. There's free flu vaccine being offered in the malls (it's that time of the year!). So yes, I’d say winter is definitely on its way! This layout is my way of celebrating and manifesting those cozy winter days to come.
This week has been such a long one, but full of good things. The biggest news — my husband got promoted! Of course, with great power comes great responsibility, so his workdays have gotten longer (and even included a few weekend hours), but we’re so proud and thankful nonetheless.
On the crafty side, I managed to finish quite a few projects:
3 Polkadoodles projects (projects to be published soon!)
Pocket card for Miqueka Scrap — simple to make but turned out so cute! I even made a mini tutorial reel for it.
Another Miqueka Scrap project scheduled for posting this week (Thursday & Friday — keep an eye out!).
A TN for Traci Reed and cute little gift booklets for Kelly Bangs — both I can’t share just yet, but I can’t wait for you to see them!
So yes, last week was pretty much spent prepping for all the projects I’ll be posting this week.
Oh! And I almost forgot! I won Rosie’s Studio’s World Card Making Day challenge! I shared more about it here on my blog.
Reading update: 3 books done last week, all by authors I’ve read before and still enjoy.
Over the weekend, we celebrated Ton’s promotion with dinner at one of our regulars here in Al Ahsa, Sabroso. The food was great, very much like Ojo Restaurant where we ate the week before.
This week should be a bit calmer now that my scheduled projects are done (Hopefully with the husband too!). I’ll be focusing on prepping for the Winter Market - can’t wait to share more soon!
Christmas countdown: 45 days to go!
Here’s to cozy days ahead, more creative weekends, and maybe (just maybe) finally getting that winter chill!

We're all very proud of Ton, congratulations again! 👏 And thank you so much for including us in the celebration, even if we are thousands of miles away. Now that he has a great responsibility, that means you'll be more jumpy, sis! LOL! I just remembered that story about how you were surprised when he appeared behind you.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get that winter chill you've been waiting for soon! We'll be seeing you both soon, and we're very excited to spend Christmas with you guys! Love you both. 😘❤️❤️❤️
