Late Happy Planner Layout for the Week + Life Lately

A little late with my Happy Planner layout this week because I’ve been under the weather. Just like last year, the moment winter peeked in… boom! I got sick again. So yes! This is definitely the official sign that winter has arrived.

We also had a tiny emergency the other day (life really knows how to keep things exciting), but I’m feeling maybe 85% okay now, just enough to sit down and work on this week’s layout. I probably won’t have too much to write on it since most days were spent sleeping, hydrating, and being dramatic on the bed. Still, I want to stay consistent with both my planner and this layout blog, even on slow, sniffly weeks.

For this week’s spread, I used the Dream Seeker sticker book. I swear, every time I use it, I’m reminded of how pretty it actually is. I didn’t hold back either, I went all in with the pretty floral stickers.

I also added these sentiments:

  • just be brave girl
  • be a kind person with a kind spirit
  • inhale courage, exhale fear
  • wild hearts can’t be broken

Honestly, these maybe a gentle pep talk to myself too! A reminder that even if I’m under the weather, I’m stronger than this. A tiny warrior with tissues (and issues!). hehehe!

Projects From Last Week

Lip Balm Booklets - Kelly Bangs

I made the cutest little lip balm booklets using Kelly Bangs’ The Nutcracker Ball collection. I loved them so much that they got their own blog post! You can check it out here. Definitely leveled up the Eos lip balms I got from Costco!

Gift Tags – Kat Scrappiness

I also made gift tags using the Birthday Quokka stamps from Kat Scrappiness! I always feel a little limited whenever I only use stamps, but that’s honestly just me being on 40% crafting mode. Because HELLO I have so much stuff for backgrounds, it’s embarrassing. Hahaha! So this turned into a scrap-busting project, and the pink background is actually a Distress Oxides piece I made. I really need to remind myself that with the stash I have, I can literally make anything!

Polkadoodles Projects

Finished three Polkadoodles projects too but you know the drill, these are secret until next month! But then again, feel free to check out our Digi Choosday projects for crafting inspirations! (Shameless plug because well, this is my blog! haha)

Interactive Shaker Album – Miqueka Scrap

I also created an interactive shaker album for Miqueka Scrap! Love love love how it turned out! You can watch the flip-through here, and if you want to recreate it, I included a process reel with full measurements here. A friend asked for a slower version, so I uploaded a full one on Google Drive — might as well share that too! I even thought of doing a voiceover version on YouTube… but maybe next time. Hehe.

Books & What I’m Watching

Reading has been a bit slow because I’m currently watching Absentia on Netflix.

Christmas Countdown

We are only 34 days away from Christmas! We’ve already crossed out so many people from our gift list thanks to the 11.11 sale in Manila. Online shopping really is the best! And thank you to my sister  who is my personal PO Box in the Philippines. Haha!

Winter Market

The highlight of last week was definitely our Winter Market! It was such a success. I’ll write a separate blog post for that, but here’s one photo I’ll share for now! Here with the most supportive person in my life… the husband. 💗 I’ll add the link to my Winter Market blog here once it’s up!

And that’s the week!

Signing off now with a warm drink, my planner, and a very sniffly nose.

Here’s to feeling 100% soon — but still crafting through the sniffles.

  1. As always your planner layout looks great. I love the "sentiments" especially "be a kind person with a kind spirit".
I saw your lip balm booklet again and I really love this project.
Congratulations on a successful night market event.
Seeing your Christmas Countdown which says 34 days to go made me panic for I have not done any shopping yet.
It's good that you are feeling a little better now.
Wishing you a full and speedy recovery so you will be ready for your next travel. So excited to see you and Ton.
