Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring the Bunny Surprise Easter Basket digi from Polkadoodles! This project is perfect when you need something quick but still super cute - especially if you’re using a pre-colored image like I did. It’s also a great design to mass-produce for craft fairs or last-minute gifting!
Materials Used:
-
Digi stamp - Bunny Surprise Easter Basket from Polkadoodles
-
Sentiment - included with the digi set
-
White cardstock
-
Gem sticker
-
CutterPillar Crease Score Board
-
Tim Holtz Guillotine
-
Bearly Art Glue
-
Marvy Uchida Paper Crimper (optional – you can use a score board instead)
Instructions:
1. Create your card base
Trim a piece of white cardstock to 5.5” x 8.5” and score it in the middle at 4.25” to form your card base.
2. Prepare the front panel
Cut another piece of white cardstock to 5.25” x 4”.
3. Add texture
Run the panel through a paper crimper for that fun textured look.
No crimper? No problem! Simply score the panel every 0.75” and gently fold along the lines (not fully) to mimic the effect.
4. Assemble the base
Glue the textured panel onto the front of your card base.
5. Add the focal image
Prepare your pre-colored Bunny Surprise Easter Basket digi and adhere it to the center of the card.
6. Add the sentiment
Attach the sentiment just below the image.
7. Finishing touches
Add a gem sticker for a little sparkle and shine.
This card is such a fun and easy make, and the textured background really adds interest without needing extra layers or embellishments. Perfect for beginners or when you want a quick but beautiful result!
I hope you give this project a try!
